Good Enough Start (GES)

Good Enough Start is a preventative infant mental health service based in Millom. It’s vision is that all babies develop a sensitive, nurturing parent-infant relationship to lay the foundation for lifelong mental and physical health. The rationale for Good Enough Start’s service lies in the fact that insecure attachment is avoidable.

Copeland Youth Network (CYN)

Copeland Youth Network was established in 2011, The Fund worked with Copeland’s neighbourhood youth providers to come together to ensure. Supporting Copeland’s Children & Young people is a key priority for the Fund, hence the funding we have awarded to support the running costs of Copeland’s individual neighbourhood youth providers.

ACTion with Communities in Cumbria (ACT)

ACT is the rural and community development charity that works throughout Cumbria. They champion community and rural issues and support rural communities.

Growing Well

Growing Well is an established mental health charity and organic farm near Kendal in South Cumbria with a mission to reach more communities in Cumbria.

The Ennerdale Hub: Solar @The Gather

This project sees the installation of a green energy system to include solar panels with battery support and Electric Vehicle Charging Points for the customers of The Gather and the wider community. The project will enable the generation and storage of electricity.

St. John’s Laundry

The Project covers Phase 2 of a capital project to renovate The Old Laundry building in St. John’s churchyard, Waberthwaite which will provide a useful meeting space for a range of different groups to use for social and educational purposes.

Time to Change: Calderwood House

Calderwood House is a ten-bedroom hostel based in the Old Police Station, Egremont Main Street, supporting those that find themselves homeless or unemployment in the Copeland area.

Calderwood House provides en-suite bedrooms and round the clock support for up to three months. An Outreach Worker ensures each resident is assisted and encouraged to move forward to the next step in their lives.
