Copeland Youth Network (CYN)

Copeland Youth Network was established in 2011, The Fund worked with Copeland’s neighbourhood youth providers to come together to ensure. Supporting Copeland’s Children & Young people is a key priority for the Fund, hence the funding we have awarded to support the running costs of Copeland’s individual neighbourhood youth providers.

Copeland Youth Network (CYN)

Copeland Youth Network was established in 2011, The Fund worked with Copeland’s neighbourhood youth providers to come together to ensure:

  • A unified voice for youth work across Copeland.
  • Youth provision was maintained and developed locally.
  • Peer support, sharing good practice, joint training opportunities and a collaborative approach to funding and delivery.
  • Facilitate consultation & engagement with the young people of Copeland to meet their needs and hear their voice.

Supporting Copeland’s Children & Young people is a key priority for the Fund, hence the funding we have awarded to support the running costs of Copelands individual neighbourhood youth providers including:

  • Distington Club for Young People
  • Egremont Youth Partnership
  • Phoenix Youth Partnership (Cleator Moor & Frizington)
  • Shackles Off (Seascale & Millom)
  • South Whitehaven Youth Partnership (Mirehouse & Woodhouse)
  • Whitehaven Harbour Youth Project

Alongside additional funding to support the West Cumbria Youth Development Officer, working to improve the quality of youth work Management and practice across Copeland.
