This project sees the installation of a green energy system to include solar panels with battery support and Electric Vehicle Charging Points for the customers of The Gather and the wider community. The project will enable the generation and storage of electricity.

This project sees the installation of a green energy system to include solar panels with battery support and Electric Vehicle Charging Points for the customers of The Gather and the wider community. The project will enable the generation and storage of electricity.
The project will also be the focus of a community awareness raising programme to include:
- Promotional booklet – highlighting successful local case studies
- Volunteer led awareness raising workshops
- Development of a ‘community collective’ approach to systems purchasing (to reduce costs to individuals)
The Ennerdale Hub will ‘lead the charge’ to increase the take up of renewable energy across the wider community.

- Seek a collective bargaining approach to system purchase thus reducing costs

- 300 hours Voluntary time dedicated to sustainably maintaining and improving public spaces, creation, or management of green infrastructure.
