Howgill Family Centre – Time To Be Me

The grant to Howgill Family Centre will support Time to Be Me (TTBM) staffing costs for 3 years.

TTBM offers bespoke, child led, ‘not time limited’ support to children 5-12 years. The project aims to improve the emotional wellbeing of children who have experienced one off trauma, separation or loss issues and anxiety, based around play therapies with a strong emphasis on the voice of the child.

Staff work within local primary school settings, with service delivery designed around small groups and individual children, where it is appropriate. The project is designed to help children with low self-esteem and confidence issues and to build resilience for the future with parental support being a key element to the success of the project.
