West Cumbria Baby Bank

West Cumbria Baby Bank is a volunteer run project. Launched in September 2024, the project provides essential baby equipment, clothing and toiletries to women and families in across West Cumbria who are struggling with the financial and practical challenge of looking after a new baby. 

Cumbria Gateway Ltd – Gateway 4 Women West Project (2024 – 2027)

Gateway 4 Women is a not-for-profit organisation offering support to all women in a safe, welcoming and women-only space. Offering support to women with a range of vulnerabilities, including; mental wellbeing, homelessness and housing related difficulties, those undergoing drug and alcohol rehabilitation, those suffering domestic abuse, debt and money management, and social isolation. The service is open to all women.

Hospice at Home West Cumbria (HHWC) – Family Bereavement Services

Established in 1987, Hospice at Home West Cumbria are recognised for delivering excellent home-based palliative and end of life care. Care and support is available to those with a life-limiting illness to meet their physical, emotional, and practical needs. The only provider of adult hospice services in the local area.

Aspire Academy is a Community Interest Company formed by the partnership of three local organisations: West Cumbria Learning Centre (WCLC), Time to Change West Cumbria and William King Construction.

Together We is a Community Interest Company in West Cumbria that aims to empower people to learn skills to better manage their own physical and mental health and their overall wellbeing.

Howgill Family Centre – Time To Be Me

The grant to Howgill Family Centre will support Time to Be Me (TTBM) staffing costs for 3 years.

Copeland Employment & Enterprise Partnership
