Copeland Age & Advice Service (C.A.A.S)

From being made redundant and highlighting a gap in service provision Becky and Lesley have set up CAAS as a Community Interest Company. To carry out full holistic assessment of need for the over 55s. Providing individuals with Information, Advice and Support. To help individuals to retain or regain their health & independence within the local community.

In the first 7 months they have employed a further 3 staff and have over 80 volunteers. They have increased the income of over 55s in Copeland by £12,000 per week with back dated monies totalling £64,000, and now have over 1,400 followers on Social Media.
