The purpose of ‘Communities Resilience Fund’ is to provide development and financial support to projects that address the community needs of Copeland residents as a result of Covid-19 or other emergencies, such as, floods.
Copeland Community Fund intend to commission this funding through the Copeland Resilience group.

As such although organisations can apply on an individual basis, CCF would look favourably on projects adopting collaborative approach.
Applications to the ‘Communities Resilience Fund’ do not need to secure match funding although support is available within the Copeland Community Fund Team to help identify any potential funding that is available and support to apply / secure said funding.
Exclusions for the Community Resilience Fund will include:
- Faith based activities and venues (unless broader community use)
- Activities that can access statutory funding
- Businesses which distribute profit to company directors or shareholders
