Copeland Community Fund 2022-2025 ‘Local Communities Fund’ offers support for projects seeking funding in the borough.
There are 4 areas (themes) in which a project may focus:

Employment & Enterprise
Copeland Community Fund 2022-25 Strategy continues to prioritise Work & Skills large projects. Applications can be made on: 20th April, 6th July, 5th October 2022, or January 25th 2023. Areas projects may focus on include, but are not limited to:

- Pathways to Work & Skills
Community Wellbeing
Copeland Community Fund 2022-2025 Strategy introduces a priority for Community Wellbeing for large projects. Applications can be made on: 20th April, 6th July, 5th October 2022, or January 25th 2023.
The purpose is to provide revenue and / or capital support to existing provision within Copeland and consider new complementary provision. Areas projects may focus on include, but are not limited to:

- Active Lifestyles
- Arts & Culture
- Carers Initiatives
- Social Inclusion
- Social Action
- Healthy Eating Programmes & Initiatives
Places & Spaces
Copeland Community Fund 2022-2025 Strategy introduces a priority for Community, Infrastructure & Environment for large projects. Applications can be made on: 20th April, 6th July, 5th October 2022, or January 25th 2023.
The purpose is to provide revenue and / or capital support to existing provision within Copeland and consider new complementary provision. Areas projects may focus on include, but are not limited to:

- Climate Action
- Recycling or Reuse Initiatives
- Community 'Growing' Schemes
- Improvements to Open Community Spaces
- Refurbishment or New Build Community Facility
- Improvements to Transport: Infrastructure or Community Schemes
Children & Young People
Copeland Community Fund 2022-2025 Strategy continues to prioritise Youth projects. Applications can be made on: 20th April, 6th July, 5th October 2022, or January 25th 2023.
The Fund will accept youth projects targeting children and young people from 0 – 19 years (or up to 25 years if the young person has special educational needs and/or a disability). The purpose is to provide revenue and / or capital support to existing provision within Copeland and consider new complementary provision. Areas projects may focus on include, but are not limited to:

- Generic Youth Provision
- Outdoor Pursuits
- Creative Arts Based Provision
- Emotional Resilience
- Improvement to Facilities / Equipment
Community Resilience
Projects £0 – £50K

Copeland Community Fund are committed to supporting the needs of the community as we begin to focus on ‘recovery’ of Covid-19. As such the fund are welcoming individual and collaborative applications from groups, particularly those currently linked into the Copeland Resilience Groups.

Up to £5.5k
The purpose of the Enabling Fund is to strengthen your project; ensuring best fit between the project and what Copeland Community Fund and / or other funders want to invest in.
The Enabling Fund is only accessible after discussing your application with a Community Development Officer.
